Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill was born on the 30th of November of 1874, in Woodstock, Oxfordshire.

The decisions made and measures taken during the Second World War, by the British Prime Minister were determinative for the War ending giving the victory to the Allies.

During his stay in Madeira in 1950, when he painted the famous picture of Câmara de Lobos Bay, Winston Churchill became a costumer of Oliveira Bordados, visiting it for several times.
