The “Estampadeiras” stamp the fabrics from the “Chapa” a true copy from the Original Drawing into the material. The Linen is traditionally used but one can find Organza and other fine fabrics in Madeira Embroidery. This job is done with the help of a hard pillow soaked on a blue or black washable ink.
